Canadian Lynx (Lynx canadensis). Photo taken about 100km south of Houston BC in June 2005. A rare sighting and is in fact the only Lynx that I have seen in the field. Oddly, students working with me the day this photo was taken saw another Lynx the next day over 75 km away. |
